BreAnne Christian and Christopher Prena, both of Spruce, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brenda Christian, Mike Christian and Vicki Christian of Alpena. Her fiance is the son of Ralph and Sheri Prena of Spruce.

BreAnne is a 2007 graduate of Alpena High School and attended Alpena Community College. She is employed by ACE Hardware. Christopher attended AHS and is a 2001 graduate of ACC. He is self-employed as a mechanic at Chris's Small Engine Repair.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Dec. 19 at St. Matthew's Church in Herron.
