There’s a reason why no one was judgmental

POSTED: October 30, 2009

So Bill Nicholson liked Detroit better than he does Alpena and Up North. Apparently the neighbors weren't so judgmental. Really? The City of Detroit has had one party (Democrat) rule for the last 30 years. And it isn't just one party in results; it's one party in running. No one bothers to run as a Republican. You like that? Well go ahead and move on in. They'll give you one of the thousands of empty houses to live in. They'll sign you up for whatever you need. Of course watch out for the exit doors or you'll get trampled. Detroit was once the 3rd or 4th largest city in the country. It's no longer in the top 20. They have the most corrupt government in the USA, no jobs, real estate prices are in the negative numbers, unemployment has set new records and people are leaving in droves. Why? Could it be that all those neighbors don't criticize your beliefs because they all agree with you in the first place. One party rule..., Democrat control of everything...., corruption. So every Republican president has opened the door to the treasury for the military? Bill conveniently forgets that Kennedy and Johnson gave us the Viet Nam War which cost 70,000 American lives and more money than any war in history. But I suppose down there where nobody questions your thinking they don't have to remember such things. I like it up here just fine. Don't let the door ...

I found the movie Dumb and Dumber very funny; concerning when they find the briefcase is full of money. “Remember we will only spend what we really need and pay it back”. So dumb but so real.

The last 2 comments are a prime example of the blind leading the blind. Or, dumb and dumber! But..."sheeple" for sure! Could they dig any faster? Please!

Amos57usa -- Yes, just the name Sarah Palin does brighten my day. Tea Party members are so gullible and simple. They will all buy her books, affording her a comfortable live style. While most of them live on some kind of government support, it is so ironic. “You Go Girl”.

Ollie didn't lie to congress, he "fixed a fulsom of omission". lol It's so funny when republicans like Larry Craig are entraped by the entrapment laws they created. Please allow me this moment to say something that will keep me laughing all day, "Sarah Palin" :)

I agree that politicians should be held to the maximum penalty of the law for misuse of their powers. There has been a good share of corrupted Republicans to. In fact the Republicans seem to hold their criminals in high esteem. Two that come to mind are Tom Delay and Ollie North; Republican radio host just can’t stop licking the boots of these guys. Why glorify criminals.

No need to vary from the same line of reasoning when it is correct.

Rush Limbaugh's "love child" needs to take a deep breath or a long walk. Right wingers all wear the same clothes, They are cynical and paranoid and cultlike. They never vary from the same line of reasoning. " Coffee Can
