Abductions of children in Florida sickening

POSTED: November 6, 2009

Being a former police officer with a conscious, I am sick of watching the news and seeing these little girls being abducted and murdered lately. I just want to vomit. What really burns me is that these abductions were completely avoidable. It's so frustrating to hear that a 7 year old child was walking home from school alone and abducted, raped, and dumped in a landfill. I'm from the area where the girl was abducted in Florida. I live in Alpena now.

For a cop this is frustrating. The Florida girl was a victim of bad parental oversight. There is no way on God's green earth I would ever allow any 7 year old child of mine walk home from school unsupervised ... knowing what I know. It only takes the horrific sight of one trashed child to burn you up inside with rage. Cops are human. They hurt too. The decisions made by lazy parenting affects more than just the family of the murdered child. The cop somehow has to get to sleep at night despite the gruesome images that will always haunt him. Parents need to get their hand out of the potato chip bag and retrieve their child from school. I am sick of the blame being tossed around to the criminal. They're criminals ... that's what they do. Any parent knows there are bad people out there somewhere just waiting to pounce ... just look at the sex offenders list for this area. When you disregard this fact you're playing with fire. The parent is the weak link. Our bad decisions last a lifetime. Watch your kids. God only knows the things this girl endured.

The murderer will be found ... But that only solves a murder. So sad.

excell.Contrary to your fantisies I have many guns but no pocket in my bathing suit in which to carry them you silly boy. If I lived in fear like you do I could tape one to my forehead. Now deal with your fear of fire lake for bearing false witness.

No gun = stabbed! Then, no gun again = stabbed. You sure like knives!

You said, and I quote, "I was UNARMED when I was stabbed in LA." Then you said, "Good thing I was unarmed at my OTHER STABBING..." Man...LOL...you cannot be serious! But what gets me is that you wear this like a badge of honor. LOL!!! I'd say to keep digging that hole but you've hit bottom.

excell..No I did not blame a gun..you lied. I don't lack a gun..you lied. I have been trained to hunt since 1964..you lied. You know nothing about the circumstances of the stabbings nor about my life. You have no credibility whatsoever. I bless you in the name of jesus Claus; Merry Xmas.

excell..So you flew to 100 million galaxies counting how many gods there aren't? Your arms must be really tired! Again your research design for god counting lacks internal, external and construct validities. Your assertation that one of the gods had sex with my mom was very rude! If you actually have a god as you claimed, tell us what She wears, what She eats, how fast She can fly and how you measured your claims so we can confirm your results through peer review then bestow upon you the $ million reward.

Also Amos...you got stabbed...twice! Yet you continue to blame a gun. It's the lack thereof, and basic firearms training with the intent NOT to become a victim, that makes you a victim. Your fear of the government is also evident. At the risk of imprisonment, you are willing to become a sacrificial lamb to any thug with a knife. If you keep doing what you've always done, you will get what you always got. Your life reflects apathy. Long live the Republic!

Correction amos...there are no "Gods." There is evidence that only one God exists and you are proof of that. You have a great fear of even the slightest notion that someone holds your life in the palm of His hand. My God is your God...you just don't know it yet. But as sure as the sun will rise in the morning...you will. nobody cares about your great faith in primordial slime. It takes more faith to believe that bunk than to believe the universe had to exist before evolutionary theories.

excell..Since there is no empirical evidence for heaven and hell, gods, souls or life after death, there is a really good chance those are "universal deciets". We rational people can't claim what does not exist but we are convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt that heaven and*****are fraud and extortion used to scare money out of the gulible masses. It's the simple carrot and stick approach to Skinnerian operant conditioning. If u wish to tape a gun to your forhead while putting money in the plate to avoid fire lake..enjoy.

excell..Why are non-violent people a "billboard" for carrying a gun? I was simply pointing out the futility of carrying a gun to thwart mass murders. We havn't had all that many mass murders in Alpena this year and the odds of you being at the next one are very slim but enjoy the wait. I was unarmed when I was stabbed in L.A. but my friend pistol wipped the stabber and ended up in jail for being a hero. Good thing I was unarmed at my other stabbing because I may have shot the dude and ended up in prison too. Your fantasies may not turn out the way you like.

Amos...thanks for pointing out that there are unarmed people at KMART! Your diarrhea of the mouth is far from tactically sound! You, and those like you are the billboard for concealed carry rights. But, the one person who may not be unarmed and just happened to be there when wolves attack could be a hero if willing. I would be the first in line to shake his/her hand. God bless the Concealed Carry patriots! Long live the Republic!

excell..There are a bunch of unarmed people at kmart. Take your gun and go stand there and shoot the first mass murderer or god thingy that you see. If a wolf arrives you had better check with the DNR before you shoot. And dont spam us about human behaviors until your learn about the origins of your species.

keepthe..I heard that the bibles claimed a god thingy flooded the planet which would include murdering many babies. Supposedly the same god thingy burned Sodom and Gamorah in a mass murder of everyone there including babies and kids. But then there are many versions of silly bibles that are misinterpetations of mistranslations of outdated rumors. You may interpet city buring as as fun things the gods do when bored and others interpet it as maladaptive behavior or sadistic fables.

May I take this time to remember Mrs. Kelly, of whom lived near Ella White School. Every day after school she looked after the children - from her home - as they passed by. She wanted the children to be safe.

Florida law is much to be desired. Why make a law that states that a resgistered sex offender may not live within a mile of a school, to allow the sex offender to work within a mile of school, visit friends and family - within a mile of a school, and we also allow the resistered sex offender to walk or drive through the 2 square-mile area . . . Makes no sense whatever. A registered sex offender has no business whatever being within a one-mile radius of any school under any circumstance - short being driven through the area in an ambulance as a patient.

When mothers who have been abused become divorced and have to work . . . That mom should be at home when her children have to get home from school. The school system can't hire everybody who needs to be home to safely get her children home from school.

You couldn't be more wrong about the Bible. God has never burned babies. The Bible says no such thing. In fact he tells adults that we should become more like children. He said "bring the children to me."

The world will be better if we investigate a topic before we speak. Speaking out in ignorance can be deadly.

Some of the points you made are very important, but the way you said them drives people away. Once you blast someone, they shut down. You can further your cause better when you speak with respect, and LISTEN! Seek to draw people together.

...that to make one weak, opens one to the wolves. The murder did his job! He found a herd of defenseless sheeple and did what murders do. The government in hindsight failed to carry out a simple Constitutional mandate, and that is to properly provide for our defense. The same applies to the home. Bad decisions by disregarding the wolf as not a real threat makes abductions possible. I wish I was at the scene of the abduction. My .45 would have it's first notch in it's handle!

The police officer is an emergency RESPONSE tool. They show up in time to draw a white line around the body. The parent is a proactive measure...not reactive. Ft Hood is the prime example. The wolf saw a herd of defensless sheeple and pounced. The "reactive" element showed up in time to stop the killing at 13 bodies. The blame lies in the depoartment of the army, who made the deadly decision to disarm NCO's and CO's. They have not learned from history...

Amos...the foundations of your twisted moral values are tainted from conception. The weak link into the safety of any family core is the parent or guardian. If that adult supervisor fails to properly perform their duty to protect within reason, bad things will happen. Wolves seek the defenseless and make their living according to the laws of vulnerability. If a child is left unprotected, the wolf will pounce. The presence of and adult will always force the wolf to find easier prey. They are cowards.

thomas..Great, blame the parent instead of the murderer. We humans don't have to be a peace officer to feel the same disgust. If a 17 year old and a 15 year old have consensual sex or if a drunk urinates in public they are put on the sex offenders list thus rendering the list misleading by dilution. Instead of basing our laws on 2,000 year old silly religious ideations we should base them on present human ethics. I'm not sure which god thingy "knows the things this girl endured" but the silly bibles claim the Christian god burned babies alive in the fine city of Sodom and I have big doubts that murderer will ever be found. So sad.
