The City Council in their collective infinite wisdom chose to remove the only honest and good man when they removed Thad Taylor from his City Manager position. What better way to complete their den of thieves than to replace the only obstacle in their way to complete this den of thieves intended goal.
This brings the question, where to you find a replacement to this most important position, especially in the total hatchet job they did to Mr. Taylor.
The possible replacement for the City Manager's job, the good and qualified people, will see what happens when you are a person of principle and look to the good of the City as a whole, and they will stay away. This most likely will result in an appointment of a second rate person instead of the first rate person that you have had previously, Thad Taylor.
And we the citizens of this city of Alpena, will pay a price for this stunt.
