Natalie Cordes and John Leslie exchanged their wedding vows Feb. 18, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Greg McCallum officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of William and Susan Cordes of Barton City, and the granddaughter of Larry and Joanne Ball of Alpena. The groom is the son of Ronald and Laura Leslie of Tawas.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her friend, Lisa Brindley. Bridesmaids were friends Renee Rose, Abbie Ferris, Tiffany Wilson and sister of the groom, Britta Leslie. Flower girl was Kendra Patterson, friend of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Christopher Mangus. Groomsmen were friends Tristam Coffin, David Dekett, Jason Meisch and Zachery Forest. Ring bearer was Timothy Meisch. Serving as ushers were William Cordes Jr. and Nicholas Cordes, brothers of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at Alpena Knights of Columbus Hall.
Natalie is a graduate of Alma College with a Bachelor of Chemistry Degree and is currently in the United States Coast Guard, stationed in Detroit. Jason is employed with the Michigan Department of Parks at Algonac State Park.
The couple is residing in St. Clair Shores.
