Rebekah Marie Ross and Christopher Lee Wade, both of Alpena, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy Ross of Alpena. The future groom is the son of Mark and Annette Wade, also of Alpena.
Rebekah is a 2001 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2005 graduate of Alpena Community College and a 2009 graduate of Spring Arbor College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed by Tendercare-Alpena, working with staff development.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Oct. 5, 2013 in Alpena.
