Megan Miller of Alpena and Adam Hardies, both of Royston, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Chuck and Elaine Miller of Alpena. The future groom is the son of Bill and Mary Hardies of Royston.
Megan is a 2009 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2011 graduate of Ferris State University with an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy. She will graduate in May 2013 from FSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management. Megan is currently employed at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

Adam is a 2005 graduate of Hillman High School and is employed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Godfrey Farms, Inc.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows Aug. 31, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena.
