As we approach this Christmas season keep in mind those that do services for you and those that could use your touch. A small gift to the mail person, trash collector, paper delivery, anyone that provides a little comfort for you that usually goes unnoticed. A gift certificate from Olivet Book and Gift or any downtown merchant would be appropriate. A thank you note. A personal greeting. Anything that shows your gratitude for services rendered. For those that might be alone this season. An invite for lunch, a Christmas meal, a visit. The need is great and most of us have been blessed with a bounty. For those that may not be as well off as we are, a special touch. Have a blessed Christmas and remember the ages old adage "It is better to give than receive."
