CEDARVILLE-The Onaway volleyball team swept Cedarville on Monday in three sets, 25-16, 25-10 and 25-13.
"We actually started out a little bit sloppy. We didn't have good movement on the court and our ball handling was a bit rough. Sometimes it takes a little while to come out to an opponent, but we did very well statistically and it's a good win," Onaway coach Steve Watson said.
Mariah Ehrke picked up 13 kills and eight digs. She also posted a 0.379 attack percentage.
"I don't normally report the attack percentage unless it's really high and that's an extremely high percentage," Watson said.
Taylor Ehrke picked up four aces, nine digs and 27 assists. Lexi Szymoniak had eight kills, four aces and five digs.
Devin Bristley contributed seven kills, six aces and three digs while Sarah Fullerton had six digs.
Jade Galer, a freshman player, had five digs and two kills.
Onaway is now 42-8-3. They travel to the Presque Isle Championship in Posen on Wednesday.
