Artist E.P. Lewandowski of Michigan has been selected to teach a drawing seminar by the Colored Pencil Society of America Chicago Chapter 103.
The event, entitled "Rocks and Waterscape Settings," is slated for Nov. 9-10 in Palatine, Ill. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about steps in foundation planning, tonal use, detailing, color [overlay], applications, structure development and composition.
"I continue to be very proactive in my professional career as an artist and view this as opportunity to expand my teaching skills," Lewandowski said. "In preparation for the class, I decided to purchase and construct a living indoor waterfall and stream assembly. This unit is portable, expandable, and currently measures over 12-feet long, 3-feet in width, and 2-feet or more in height. The prospect of using this assembly for a teaching workshop is appealing for me and unique in concept."
