Sheriff dept. looking for man following robbery

The Montmorency County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man in conncection with a robbery at a Lewiston bank.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Montmorency County Dispatch received a 911call from the First Federal Bank in Lewiston reporting a robbery had occurred. Deputies from the Montmorency County Sheriff Office and Michigan State Police responded to the scene. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Montmorency County Sheriff's Office is attempting to locate Dale Alwin Weidenhammer Jr. He was last seen wearing a snowmobile type black coat with a lime green stripe across the front, black baseball hat with light colored brim, blue jeans.

He may be driving a 1995 Geo Tracker dark in color with stickers on the rear of the vehicle, llicense plate number 7KQM21.
