Bravo Editor: I am responding to your editorial condemning senate bill 248 that passed and is signed into law, sad indeed. When the people of Michigan consider that Romney Ryan ticket, platform was to turn national forest over to states jurisdiction all over the nation. This 248 law would force millions of acres in possibly the Huron, Manistee, Hiawatha, and Ottawa national forest to be sold. It may be a coincidence but a company like Georgia Pacific, now owned by Koch industries might, and could have influenced a bill such as 248. Hypothetical, but who could say or know. Georgia Pacific a paper lumber company was bought for around $21 billion, and has plants in Michigan as of now. Koch donated heavily to the Romney ticket. All on the internet.
