Join Thunder Bay Theatre and the Dork Brothers for the annual Break a Leg 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser on May 4.

Dress up in your best theatrical garb or as your favorite Star Wars character (it is May the 4th, after all).

All proceeds benefit Thunder Bay Theatre.

Participants can come out before and after the race for light refreshments at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, 500 W. Fletcher St. in the Education Room.

Registration and check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the Maritime Heritage Center.

The race route is along the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Trail.

Participants can register online or through the mail.

Registration can be mailed to TBT, P.O. Box 314, Alpena, Michigan, 49707, or dropped off at the United Way of Northeast Michigan, 108 Water St.

Cost is $15 for adults, $10 for students.

Awards will be given to the top five finishers, as well as for best costumes and final finisher.
