Lost Lake Woods Club introduces new social membership option
LINCOLN — Lost Lake Woods Club has opened a new social membership option, offering access to some of its premier recreational and social facilities.
Established in 1926, Lost Lake Woods Club has long been a beloved destination for those seeking a unique blend of natural beauty and exclusive amenities. With the introduction of a social membership option, individuals and families can now enjoy some of the club’s amenities in a new way.
Social members will have access to the Lost Lake Woods Club Lodge, the 18-hole golf course, the 5-Lakes Grill and Lost Lure Bar, the beach area with club watercraft, horseback riding (with boarding options available), the rifle and pistol range, skeet and trap shooting range, archery course, and tennis and pickleball courts. Additionally, members can participate in pheasant hunts and utilize the campground for daily or weekly reservations. As a social member, individuals will have access to these facilities at member rates.
Club Manager Ian Dockrill is excited about this new membership and is hopeful it will expand the overall membership.
“This new membership option allows individuals, families, and guests to enjoy some of our club’s amenities at member rates,” Dockrill said. “In time, we hope some of the social members will consider a full membership, opening up the full slate of amenities that Lost Lake Woods Club has to offer.”
While the social membership encompasses a wide range of amenities, certain activities such as hunting, fishing, and ATV use on the property are not included under this membership option.
“A social membership provides an opening for new members to experience Lost Lake Woods Club in a small but good way,” Dockrill added. “This is the first time we’ve had a membership option that will allow new members to join without requiring a real estate purchase or other family tie to the club.”
For those interested in learning more about the social membership option, there will be an open house event starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 at the lodge. The open house will provide an opportunity for prospective members to learn firsthand about the benefits of becoming a part of Lost Lake Woods Club.
