ALPENA — Vivero Industries is excited to bring an electrifying night of music and community support as they present national band Josey Scott’s Saliva live in concert, with special guests Katharsys Theory and Driving Dawn.

This event is set to take place this Friday at The APlex, located at 701 Woodward Ave, Alpena. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for VIP guests and at 6 p.m. for General Admission. Tickets are priced at $45 for General Admission and $85 for VIP, which includes early admission, a VIP badge/lanyard, a VIP poster, a VIP standing room section in front of the stage, and a free refill cup.

This concert serves as a fundraiser for Sunrise Centre, with all proceeds from ticket sales and donations directly contributing to the construction and development of their new treatment and recovery center in Alpena. Sunrise Centre is dedicated to providing essential services and support to individuals impacted by substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. By attending this event, you’re not only treating yourself to a night of incredible music but also playing a vital role in enabling the Sunrise Centre to expand their programming and serve more residents in need.

Saliva, known for their many hit songs such as “Your Disease,” “Always,” “Click, Click, Boom,” and “Rest in Pieces,” all of which peaked on the Rock Billboard Charts during the 2000s, will headline the event. Josey Scott, the iconic frontman, is also a great advocate for sobriety, enhancing the support for this cause. Katharsys Theory, a hard rock band local to Alpena, will also perform. They have played at multiple national festivals and well-known venues in the U.S., opening for numerous national bands and gaining national recognition in under six years. Driving Dawn, a rock band from Gaylord, and winners of this year’s Battle of the Bands event in March, will open the show.

“We’re so excited to bring such an iconic band from the 2000s to Alpena,” said Carlos Vivero, owner of Vivero Industries. “Best of all, Josey Scott is such a great advocate for sobriety, enhancing the support for this cause at this event.”

“It is truly humbling that our community has been so receptive to this event,” Shannon Vivero added. “The universal shift we are experiencing in normalizing sobriety is amazing.”

A limited number of tickets are still available at aplex.org. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enjoy an incredible night of music while supporting a vital cause in our community.
