Ron and Sandi Hempel of Alpena are celebrating 60 years of marriage.

They were married on Aug. 8, 1964 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Alpena.

They are loved and cherished by their three children, Jeff (Becky), Leslie, and Sara (Dave) and their seven grandchildren, Jalen, Jaleia, Katie, Ryan, Blake, Aubree, and Carys. Their family is so grateful for the blessings of their 60 years together and prays for their continued health and happiness for many more years.
