Courtesy Photo A donation to the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan, earmarked for the Alpena Lions Club Memorial Fund, was presented to Patrick Heraghty, left, by Alan Guest, right. Alan presented the check on behalf of Rodney and Maryanne Guest who made the donation. The monies will be used to help fund programs of the Alpena Lions Club. Some of the major programs include sight preservation, hearing aids, juvenile diabetes, pediatric cancer, hunger, and McRae Park adoption.
