These funds were raised by Al Guest so Most Ministries could purchase sunglasses for distribution in South America. The Alpena Lions coordinate with Most Ministries to distribute used eye glasses donated by residents of Alpena. The need for sunglasses was brought to the attention of the Lions Club this past year. Most Ministries distributes 600 to 800 pairs of sunglasses with each mission trip. The sunglasses are used to protect people’s eyesight from the adverse affects of cooking over open flames and the intensity of the sun in their region.
