ALPENA — Friends Together is grateful to Northland Area Federal Credit Union and all 17 branches who raised funds during the month of October to support Friends Together and the cancer patients they serve. 

Northland representatives Rainey Thorn, Tyler Plante, and Deanna Reeves presented $2,137.57 to Shelly Gibbs, office manager, and Melissa Burns, executive director of Friends Together.

Friends Together is a nonprofit cancer support organization servicing Alpena, Alcona, Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda and Iosco counties. Friends Together is grateful for Northland’s support and remind those affected by cancer that Friends Together services are free.
