Grace Episcopal dinner on Friday

LACHINE — Grace Episcopal Church on Long Rapids Road in Lachine will host their last dinner of the year from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday.

There will be homemade soups, sandwiches, and assorted desserts. The cost is by donation. All proceeds will go to the Toys for Kids program. Please bring an unwrapped toy of your choice and the church will make sure it gets to Toys for Kids.

Last month, Grace Episcopal donated over $500 in food and supplies to Alpena County Animal Control. The church is very appreciative of the community’s generosity to help local charities using proceeds from their dinners.

Christmas craft show Saturday at fairgrounds

ALPENA — Art in the Park is sponsoring the “Twas the Nite Before Christmas” craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday inside the Merchants Building at the Alpena County Fairgrounds. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of Alpena County Animal Control. Bring a donation to meet a dog’s need and get entered for a door prize. There will be over 30 vendors, concessions, raffles, and Santa will also be there. Bring the whole family out for a fun day.

Craft show Saturday at Eagles Hall

ALPENA — The second annual holiday craft and vendor show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 1960 M-32, Alpena.

The entry fee is a donation to a local charity.
