Art in the Loft’s WinterView Artist Reception tonight

ALPENA — Art in the Loft will host a WinterView Artist Reception from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, with free admission, hors d’oeuvres, and a member’s cash bar. WinterView will be open through March 1 at the gallery, located on the third floor of the Center Building at 109 N. 2nd Ave. in downtown Alpena.

WinterView 2024 is a captivating new exhibition showcasing the works of over 25 talented local artists. From stunning paintings to intricate sculptures, this show offers a fresh perspective on the season and a chance to discover one-of-a-kind, handmade artworks–just in time for your holiday shopping.

Pancake breakfast Sunday at Posen VFW Hall

POSEN — The public is invited to a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday at Posen VFW 7804 Hall. The menu includes eggs to order, pancakes, hash browns, ham, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and desserts. The cost is $10 per adult, $5 per child, and free for children under age 5.

Revolution Dance Holiday Show Saturday

Revolution Dance will host a Holiday Show featuring festive holiday music and dance at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Alcona Community Schools Auditorium, 51 N. Barlow Road. There will be a holiday basket raffle, and cookies and cocoa after the show. The suggested donation for entry is $8 per person. If you have questions, call 989-272-8152.
