Dinner Thursday at Spratt Church

LACHINE — Stave off the winter doldrums and cold by attending a soup, sandwich, and dessert dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Spratt United Methodist Church, 7440 M-65 South, Lachine (one mile south of Werth Road).

This dinner is being hosted by the Spratt United Methodist Women. The cost is $12 per adult, and free for children under age 12.

Bridge results announced

ALPENA — Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club results have been announced for this week.

Marcy Sherman and Beverley Rousseau came in first place, followed by Linda Clegg and Marge French in second, and Linda Ferguson and Dale Middleditch in third.
