Dance the Night Away Adult Prom rescheduled to Saturday

HARRISVILLE — The Hollyhock Emporium and Revolution Dance are hosting a Dance the Night Away Adult Prom from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday at Revolution Dance, 211 S. State St., Harrisville. This event had been previously scheduled for this past weekend, but was postponed due to inclement weather.

There will be music, dancing, a photo booth, gourmet hors d’oeuvres by Red Fork, and more. Tickets are $25 per person. This event is for adults 18 and older. This is a dry event. Tickets can be purchased at the Hollyhock Emporium and Revolution Dance. For more information, or for tickets, call 989-272-8152.

Audubon Society hosting bird lecture on Saturday at ACL

ALPENA — The Thunder Bay Audubon Society will present a lecture on local birds and rehabilitation from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, for all ages, in the Stillion Conference Room at Alpena County Library, 211 N. 1st Ave., Alpena. Learn about our local birds and bird rehabilitation from Ashley, an Alcona teacher who runs an official bird rehabilitation center. Armageddon rock concert Saturday at APlex

ALPENA — The APlex presents Armageddon, a Def Leppard, Poison, and Ratt tribute concert on Saturday. Admission is $16, and doors open at 5:30 p.m. Get ready to headbang and sing along to all your favorite hits from these legendary rock bands.

Poetics Lab and Lady of the Lake Yoga event Saturday

ALPENA — The Poetics Lab, in partnership with Lady of the Lake Yoga, presents a sound bath and reading at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Joshua Tree Studio, 112 W. Chisholm St., Alpena. Please use public parking lots in the rear, or street parking.
