Miller and Romel united in marriage
Katie Miller and Jason Romel exchanged their wedding vows at 3 p.m. on Aug. 10, 2019, at Immanuel Lutheran in Alpena. The Rev. Joshua Schultz officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Elaine Miller of Alpena. The groom is the son of Dave and Marti Farmer and Kevin and Annette Romel.
Megan Hardies, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Hall and Abby Ward, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Maci Hardies, niece of the bride, and Emmalyn Raushi, niece of the groom.
Aaron Romel, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Zach Raushi, brother-in-law of the groom, and Scott Holt, friend of the groom. Ringbearer was Kellen Raushi, nephew of the groom.
A reception was held at the APlex in Alpena. The rehearsal dinner was held at Pompeyos Mexican Grill.
Katie earned a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University, and is employed with Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University, and is employed with Ford Motor Credit.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon.
They reside in Troy.
