ALPENA — A woman was transported to MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena after she was involved in a two-car crash at the intersection of Ripley Boulevard and Grant Street just before noon on Wednesday.

The impact of the collision caused the airbag in the car the woman was driving to inflate. The passengers in the truck involved in the wreck were uninjured.

The Alpena Fire Department, Alpena Township Fire Department, Alpena Police Department, and Michigan State Police responded to the scene of the crash.
