Wildcat golfers 2nd at Big North
The Alpena High girls golf team took second place in the Big North Conference Championship Monday at Traverse City Country Club.
The Wildcats shot a 382 as a team.
Grace Bouchard led with a second-place score of 83. Sydney Silver and Jami Richards tied for eighth with a pair of 93s. As the BNC season wraps up, Alpena finished with two all-conference golfers: Silver and Bouchard.
The team’s final tournament of the year happens Friday and Saturday downstate for state finals.
