OSCODA TOWNSHIP — Police arrested a 25-year-old suspect after two people were stabbed in Oscoda Township on Monday.

The Oscoda Township Police Department said in a news release the suspect is reported to be related to the victims, who were transported to MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas for treatment following the stabbing on Norway Street.

One of the victims was later airlifted to Saginaw St. Mary’s Hospital for advanced care, police said.

The Michigan State Police and Iosco Emergency Medical Services assisted in the incident, which remains under investigation.
