MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena has received a five-star rating for overall hospital quality from Medicare.gov’s Hospital Compare based on July 2024 results. The Medical Center in Alpena is one of 381 U.S. hospitals, out of more than 4,600, to earn this level of achievement.

The 2024 rating selects 46 of the hospital quality measures that Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services publicly report on Medicare.gov and divides them into five measure groups: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, and timely and effective care.
