For the third straight year, MyMichigan Health, the Midland-based nonprofit that owns the Alpena hospital, has been named to Forbes Magazine’s “America’s Best Employers By State” list.

Of the 75 Michigan organizations listed, MyMichigan ranked 12th and was second on the list of Michigan health care systems.

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 160,000 employees working for companies with at least 500 people within the U.S. Survey participants were asked how likely they were to recommend their employer on a scale of zero to 10.

Companies that received the highest scores in each state made the list, with each state ranking between three and 101 employers, depending on the size of the state and the number of responses received.
