On Monday, there will be a Veterans Day parade starting at 11:11 a.m., the city of Alpena said in a Friday news release. The parade will begin at McRae Park, proceeding to North Second Avenue, left onto Water Street, and finishing at City Hall. The event will conclude with a ceremony outside City Hall.

The event will celebrate all who have served or are currently serving in the US Military.

Traffic barricades and first responders will be in place to redirect vehicular traffic away from the parade route starting at approximately 11 a.m. It is anticipated the traffic disruption will last no more than one hour.
