APS Superintendent David Rabbideau receives effective review score
The Alpena Public Schools Board of Education completed its annual evaluation of Superintendent David Rabbideau during its meeting on Monday. The superintendent’s performance was rated across five areas of professional practice: governance and board relations, community relations, staff relations, budget and finance, and instructional leadership. These areas are further broken into 34 criteria with performance descriptor levels of Needs Support, Developing, and Effective.
Rabbideau received the “effective” rating — the highest on the grading scale and is considered to be performing at the highest standard.
Throughout the year, the board reviewed artifacts and supporting evidence provided digitally by Rabbideau. This comprehensive portfolio reflects his efforts and accomplishments in each evaluation area.
