The News will not publish an edition on Wednesday in honor of the Christmas holiday.

The News offices in downtown Alpena will close at noon Tuesday, Christmas Eve, and remain closed Wednesday for Christmas Day, reopening at 8 a.m. Thursday.

Publication will resume as normal on Thursday.
