ALPENA — Ella White Elementary School hosted a family math event on Thursday called Space Mission: Math is out of this World which included a Starbase Odyssey moon obstacle course, airplane rockets, marshmallow towers, and math blast fluency facts. Students completed their missions and earned tickets for prizes. The winners chose from Harry Potter Lego sets, a Gravity Maze game, Skittles estimation, a game cube, and McDonald’s gift certificates.
