Nominations are being accepted for the 2025 Outstanding Contributor Award, an award presented by the Economic Generator Network to an individual, group of individuals, or organization that makes significant contributions to building the foundation for economic growth in Northern Michigan. The award comes with a $15,000 cash prize.

The inaugural award in 2022 was given to the Alpena High School Robotics program. Since then, the award has been given to the Industrial Arts Institute in Onaway in 2023 and Melissa Doubek, Alpena in 2024.

The nomination deadline for the 2025 award is April 30, and a decision will be made by May 31. Nominations should include names and contact information and address what impact the nominee had on building a foundation for growth in Northern Michigan.
