PREP ROUNDUP: Hillman defeats Atlanta 77-29

Hillman improved to 9-5 on the season and 5-1 in the North Star League Little Dipper defeating Atlanta 77-29.

The 77 points were a season-high for the Tigers as they would cruise in front of the home crowd.

Leading Hillman in scoring was senior Brenden Rouleau with 27 points and sophomore Ty Muszynski who added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Rouleau and Muszynski accounted for eight of Hillman’s 10 three-pointers on the night both cashing in on four apiece.

Rounding out the double-figure scoring was junior Evan Crane with 10 points and six rebounds, while senior guard Cuyler Schultz had a season-high 10 assists while adding eight points and seven rebounds.

“We had an energized home crowd and the team fed off that,” Hillman coach Eric Muszynski said. “Once again we displayed our balanced attack with three guys in double figures, including two players with 20 or more. I personally liked the fact that we had a season high 21 assists and maintained our energy for 4 quarters.”

For Atlanta, Blake King added 13 and Eli Hagemeiser chipped in with 10.

Hillman returns to action at home Tuesday against Posen.
