Haley Stenz won first place in the 110-pound weight class at Sunday’s MHSAA Regional tournament. She won her first two matches by pin followed by an 8-0 win in the finals. Stenz advances to wrestle in the state finals at Ford Field on Feb. 29. Stenz is the first female wrestler to represent Alpena High School at the MHSAA State Championships.
