Man arrested for larceny
Police arrested a 30-year-old Greenbush man on charges related to a theft from the Red Fork restaurant in Greenbush Township, the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office said in a Friday news release.
Deputies were dispatched to the restaurant on Wednesday and found a person had entered the business Tuesday night while it was closed and removed around $4,200 in cash.
Deputies executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence and found numerous firearms and ammunition, including a sawed-off shotgun.
The man was arraigned in 81st District Court on charges of larceny from a building and gun charges. He was denied bond and is currently being held in the Iosco County Jail.
