Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary Board looks to fill vacancies
The Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary Board is looking to fill two current vacancies. According to a City of Alpena press release on Friday, the Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary Board advises the City Council on environmental stewardship and maintenance of over 450 acres within the Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary and Island Park. The board is looking for individuals who can perform any of the following tasks: habitat restoration, event/activity planning, administration, and environmental educational programming.
The Sanctuary Board is a volunteer board with a three-year term. Applications are available online, in downloadable format, or in person at City Hall. Completed applications should be returned to the Human Resources Director at Alpena City Hall.
