The Alpena High School hockey team loads the bus at Northern Lights Arena to head to the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth for the MHSAA state semifinals.
Members of the Alpena community gathered to wish the Wildcats hockey team good luck as they left for the state semifinals on Thursday.
Alpena will take on Orchard Lake St. Mary’s at 11 a.m. on Friday in Plymouth. The winner will advance to the state championship on Saturday.
