Rogers City receives grant for public sculpture

Rogers City received a $15,000 grant from the Consumers Energy Foundation for finishing in second place in the foundation’s Put Your Town on the Map pitch competition.

The money will be used to have a new public art sculpture built.

Imlay City was announced as the first-place winner and will receive a $25,000 grant, which will be used for a new public interactive art and audio display.
