Three people were transported to the MyMichigan Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after being involved in a two-car crash in Alcona County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Friday press release from the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck occurred at the corner of F-41 and Black River Road at about 3:23 p.m. after the driver of a truck drove through a stop sign and struck another vehicle.

The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Alcona County Emergency Medical Services and Mikado first responders.

The police investigation and traffic control lasted until just before 6:30 p.m.
