Alpena Public Schools will be open on Wednesday, according to a Tuesday press release.

Repairs have been completed on the signal repeater antenna and school buses can now communicate with dispatch. System tests were successfully completed this afternoon.

APS would like to acknowledge the support of its partner in Alpena County Emergency Operations, Nick Harrison, and MyMichigan Health for supporting APS with both equipment and logistics to make the repair possible in an expedited timeline.
