Early Monday evening, crews were sent to a structure fire on Leer Road in Lachine.

According to talks on the police scanner, two structures were fully engulfed, and several acres of grass also caught fire. At the time, it was reported that no animals or people were inside the structures. Any related injuries are unknown as of Monday night.

The Alpena, Long Rapids Township, and Green Township fire departments and other emergency personnel were on the scene.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
