TRICARE beneficiaries in 10 Michigan counties may receive emergency prescription refills due to the recent ice storm, according to a press release from the Defense Health Agency. TRICARE beneficiaries in the following counties may be eligible through April 10: Alpena, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Mackinac, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego, and Presque Isle.

According to the Defense Health Agency, TRICARE beneficiaries should take prescription bottles to any TRICARE retail network pharmacy. If possible, the Defense Health Agency suggests visiting the pharmacy where the prescription was filled. The agency also states that beneficiaries can ask their clinician who prescribed the medication to call in a refill.
