FRANK LOUIS ROULEAU

On July 15, 1967, Frank joined hands in marriage to the love of his life Linda Zielaskowski at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena. Growing up in a large family with five brothers and five sisters, Frank learned the value and consequences of hard work. His hobby was his dedication to his career and anything else he worked at. This dedication led to working for Decorative Panel Incorporated for nearly 55 years. He was a tremendous asset to the company and his coworkers would attest to the fact of his dedication to the company. When he wasn’t working at DPI, he was tending to his “mini farm” raising chickens, turkeys, etc. Frank also enjoyed spending time at Long Lake, going on fishing trips to Canada with the guys, loved being at Campers Cove, but most of all Frank adored spending time with his family. He was also the kind of guy others would often look to for help if they needed it. Frank was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he could.

Frank is survived by his wife of 54 years Linda, two daughters, Brenda (Shawn) Shankie, and Becky (Ron) Wirgau, two grandchildren, Jeanna Wirgau, and Ryan (Lauren) Wirgau, eight siblings, Tom Rouleau, Fred (Marsha) Rouleau, Mike (Judy) Rouleau, Ken Rouleau, Barb (Art) Romel, Theresa (Bill) Kowalski, Annette Rouleau, and Mary (Ned) Goodburn, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Roger Rouleau, and a sister, Lorraine Buse.

Private family services have already taken place at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Huron Humane Society, Second Chance Shelter, or Animal Control. McWilliams Funeral Home was entrusted with Frank’s care. Online condolences may be registered at mcwilliamsfh.com.
