CHRISTOPHER MARINO

Christopher Biaggio “Earl” Marino, 56, of Rogers City, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Jan. 30, 2024.

He was born April 4, 1967, in Rogers City, to Gerald and Betty (Jozwiak) Marino.

Chris graduated from Rogers City High School in 1985. He attended Northern Michigan University where he earned his certification in welding. Following his certification, he worked high-rise construction throughout the United States. He began his sailing career in June of 1994, retiring in May of 2020. On May 31, 1997, he married Tanya Dietlin at St. Dominic Catholic Church. He enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, and just plain having fun.

He is survived by his wife, Tanya; son, Jacob (Anna Kobylczak) Marino of Posen; granddaughter, Maci Mae Marino; mother, Betty Marino; two brothers, Gerald (Tracey) Marino of Ontonagon and Gino (Kelli) Marino of Howell; mother-in-law, Lila Wenzel; a brother-in-law, Jody (Sandy) Wagner and many nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Marino; grandparents, Salvatore and Josephine Marino; Phillip Jozwiak, and Anna and Julius Peplinski.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday from 11 a.m. through the time of his funeral at 1 p.m.

Burial will take place at Ocqueoc Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in memory or Christopher Marino to Alzheimer’s Association or St. Dominic Catholic Church.
