BRUCE CHITTICK

Bruce Chittick, 60, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on Nov. 7, 2024, after an extended illness. Bruce is the son of Rose Marie and Earl Richard (Dick) Chittick.

Bruce earned his Bachelor of Arts from Alma College in 1986, a Master of Divinity from Seattle University in 2009, and was ordained in 2010. He channeled his love of reading into a long career with Barnes and Noble.

He is survived by his adopted son, Spencer; mother; brother Steven Chittick; sisters Marlo Broad (Gerald) and Nicole Chittick (Alan Plummer). He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Greg.

A memorial service will be held in Seattle on Nov. 16. An additional service for family will be held at a future date. Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army or the Alcona Historical Society – Sturgeon Point Lighthouse Fund.
