FRANCES DIANE SEFTON

Frances Diane Sefton, “Fran,” 79, from Alpena, Michigan, passed away Nov. 11,2024.

Frances was the daughter of the late Edward and Cecelia Raczak. She was also preceded in death by her brother Daniel Raczak.

Frances married William J. Sefton were married for 60 years on June 20, 1964. She had three children: Rick (Kelli) Sefton, Sharon (John) Blattert, and Wiliam J. Sefton IV (Rocky); five grandchildren: Addison and Colton Sefton, Autumn (Stephen) Boyd, Raquel, and Joe Blattert. One great-granddaughter, Isabella Boyd.

Frances was a world traveler and especially enjoyed traveling with her daughter on pilgrimages.

Visitation was at A. J. Desmond and Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, on Friday, Nov. 15 from 4 to 5 p.m. The Rosary will be at 5 p.m.

A Funeral Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, a Traditional Latin Mass Pre-Vatican II, 16414 Fourteen Mile Road, Fraser today at 9 a.m.

A Luncheon will follow the mass at The Vintage House 31816 Utica Road, Fraser.

Burial services will be held at Family Plots in Argyle Township Cemetery (one-and-a-half hours away) officiated by the Rev. Saavedra.
