HELEN JUNE LIDSTER

Helen June Lidster, 91, of Alpena, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Midland.

Helen June Plano was born June 15, 1933, in Detroit, to the late Andrew and Theresa (Penn) Plano. On Jan. 19, 1952, she married Melvin Lidster. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1988. She was a member of the Alpena Eagles.

Surviving are her partner of 29 years, Dennis Oldaugh; four children, Donald (Donna) Lidster, Ronald Lidster, Kimberly (Michael) Sneed, Lawrence (Danielle) Lidster; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and Dennis’ family.

Helen was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Laura Lidster, and brother, Lawrence Plano.

A celebration of life will take place Saturday at Alpena Eagles from 1 to 3 p.m. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
