JASON WROBEL
Sept. 27, 1974
Our beloved Son and Father, Jason Wrobel, passed away after a very brief battle with an aggressive form of Melanoma, which was a definite gut punch for he and his family. He was born in Detroit on Sept. 27, 1974, to David J. and Nancy A. (Kazmierczak) Wrobel. The family relocated to Greenbush in 1975 after his grandparents retired and moved north. Jason spent his childhood on Cedar Lake and learned to swim, fish, and play golf with his Grandpa Stan. He graduated from Oscoda Area High School, where he was a state champion swimmer, and went on to attend ITT Institute and Alpena Community College. Jason currently worked at Nova-Tron Controls in Alpena but also spent time working at P&L Manufacturing and ITT Industries after college. He worked hard to get ahead with a goal of retiring and enjoying the benefits of all of his hard work. Jason loved his children over anything else and with custody of them, he made it his main goal to raise, protect, and ensure they had everything they needed to grow into the wonderful adults they are now. He attended the many school and sporting events each of them were in and if he couldn’t get there, his parents were there to give him updates until he could arrive. Jason was one of the parents who totally dedicated his life to ensuring they knew he supported them with anything they did with school, sports, and life. He loved boating on the pond, going to Rock Concerts – big time, shooting pool on two leagues, golf, and enjoying his large circle of very close friends and his family. Jason is survived by his parents, Dave and Nancy; his children, Aidan and Avery; his buddy, Junior and Abby and Debbie, his daughter’s pups; his Uncle Ron and Aunt Carol; his Uncles Robin (Terri) and Tracy (Debby) Kazmierczak; many cousins who he was extremely close to and his very close and much loved friends, who have been by his side through this horrible journey – we thank you more than we could ever express! He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Martha Wrobel and Donald and Dolores Kazmierczak and his aunt, Nancy Silorski. Jason has chosen cremation. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda. The family will welcome friends beginning at 10:30 a.m. You may offer your condolences online to the family at Buresh Funeral Homes | Oscoda, Tawas City, Hale, Prescott.
